First, I enlarged the canvas to allow for additional image, then dropped the background out to white, while maintaining the natural shadows. Next, I completed the missing parts of the balloons, removed the strings and stems, and altered the colors. In addition, I changed the colors on the coat to the client's specifications. Finally, I trimmed, filled in, and hilighted the little girl's hair. The Art of Retouching
